What is Lutronic Healite II
Lutronic Healite II is an LED phototherapy system (LLLT, low-level light therapy). It is not a laser: it uses 1800 LEDs at specific wavelengths to modulate cell activity, with no heat and no trauma to the skin. It speeds healing, reduces pain and inflammation, treats active acne and supports skin rejuvenation. It is used on its own or after other treatments such as laser, fillers and surgery, on patients of all ages. It is available as HEALITE II (830 and 633 nm) and HEALITE II Combo (830, 633 and 415 nm).
THE TECHNOLOGY
How Healite II LED phototherapy works
LED light at precise wavelengths is absorbed by cells and stimulates their activity (photobiomodulation): it acts at subcellular, cellular and tissue level without generating heat. Each wavelength reaches a different depth and has a specific action.
830 nm with 590 nm photo-sequencing
590 nm light is emitted for 60 seconds before continuous 830 nm (Photo-Sequencing Technology): it pre-conditions the epidermis and enhances the action of 830 nm in the dermis. This is the wavelength for healing, pain and post-treatment recovery.
633 nm red light
Indicated for skin rejuvenation and hair regrowth. In dermatology it is also used for photodynamic therapy (PDT) with 5-ALA.
415 nm blue light
Indicated for active acne: it acts as endogenous photodynamic therapy, with no photosensitiser applied to the skin. Available in the HEALITE II Combo version.
OLAT optical lenses
Optical Lens Array Technology concentrates the light of the 1800 LEDs with collimating optics: less scattering and more energy in the tissue. The adjustable head covers large areas or focuses intensity, and the flexible arm reaches any treatment area.

Is Healite II a laser?
No. Healite II is an LED phototherapy device: it emits low-intensity light that stimulates cells without heating or damaging tissue. This is why treatment is pain-free and non-invasive.
What is each wavelength for?
830 nm (with 590 nm photo-sequencing) is indicated for healing, pain and post-treatment recovery. 633 nm for skin rejuvenation and hair regrowth. 415 nm, in the Combo version, for active acne.
How does it help recovery after laser, fillers or surgery?
Used after other treatments it speeds healing and reduces pain, bruising, oedema and erythema. According to Lutronic data, for example, bruising drops from about one week to 1–2 days and oedema from 5–7 days to 2–3 days.
What is the difference between HEALITE II and HEALITE II Combo?
HEALITE II works with 830 nm (with 590 nm) and 633 nm. The Combo version adds 415 nm blue light and lets you combine two wavelengths in the same treatment.
